History
ABC KIDS and Brighton JHS are independent institutions managed under Yayasan Karya Kasih Mandiri, established in 1998 and 2008, respectively, by the late Drs. Wasis Sastroredjo, a former rector of Petra Christian University (1988 – 1997), with holistic education values as the foundation of its establishment.
This concept encompasses the well-being of all creations and emphasizes the responsibilities human beings’ have towards the Creator, fellow-citizens, the environment, and the world
“In essence, the concept of education should not only be geared towards intellectual pursuit but also physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.”
Today, second-generation Mr. Ir. Sigit Permana MM. takes over the responsibility of the foundation. While still upholding the values passed on by his late father, Mr. Permana aims to grow the foundation into a forward-thinking school that embraces new opportunities within the realm of teaching and learning.
ABC KIDS and Brighton school offers all-round education and a friendly environment. The school currently has seven academic premises, all equipped with similar facilities to one and another according to its level. The school offers a dual-language curriculum in which all classes are instructed using English and Indonesian languages. As part of our commitment to providing a holistic approach to education, students are encouraged to participate in various sports, arts, music, volunteering, and research programs.
