Learning goes beyond the classroom. Through Bakti Brighton: Together We Empower Through Collaboration, students from Brighton JHS Kota Wisata had the opportunity to step into a different role—not only as learners, but also as young educators.
Held at SDN Cibuntu, Jawa Barat, this meaningful event brought our Brighton students together with elementary school students for a day filled with learning, sharing, and collaboration. Our students had the opportunity to share their knowledge through engaging activities covering English, Science, and Music.
From learning and practicing English together, exploring exciting Science topics, to enjoying Music activities, our Brighton students created an interactive and enjoyable learning experience for the younger students. More than simply sharing lessons, they also encouraged curiosity, creativity, and confidence along the way.
The visit was also warmly welcomed by Mrs. Juhertin, Principal of SDN Cibuntu, who was excited to see the students come together through this initiative. She shared her hopes that the knowledge and experience brought by the Brighton students would continue to inspire and benefit the students at SDN Cibuntu.
“I hope that the knowledge shared by the students of Brighton JHS will inspire us to continue learning, growing, and becoming better.”
— Mrs. Juhertin, Principal of SDN Cibuntu
For our Brighton students, this experience was also a valuable lesson in communication, teamwork, responsibility, and empathy. They learned that teaching is not simply about sharing what you know, but also about listening, connecting, and making learning meaningful for others.
Bakti Brighton is a reminder that when we learn together and share what we know, we can empower one another to grow.
