Brighton JHS Kota Wisata recently took learning beyond the classroom with an exciting field trip to Ciwidey, Bandung — a journey packed with exploration, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
The trip began with a visit to the Museum Geologi (Geological Museum) in Bandung, where students had the chance to deepen their understanding of Earth’s history. They observed fossils, minerals, and geological formations while learning about Indonesia’s dynamic natural landscape. It was a fascinating opportunity to connect what they’ve learned in class with real-world exhibits.
After the museum visit, the students headed to Rengganis Campsite in Ciwidey for an immersive camping experience. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, they pitched tents, gathered around the campfire, and bonded through team-building activities. For many, it was a rare and refreshing chance to unplug and enjoy the great outdoors.
The adventure continued with a hiking session, where students trekked through scenic trails, soaking in the fresh mountain air and picturesque views of Ciwidey’s natural landscape. Along the way, they learned about local plants, wildlife, and the importance of preserving the environment.
This field trip was more than just a getaway — it was an enriching educational experience that fostered curiosity, independence, and teamwork. Our students returned with broader perspectives, stronger friendships, and a deeper appreciation for nature and history.
Brighton JHS Kota Wisata is proud to support learning experiences that go beyond textbooks, encouraging students to explore, engage, and grow in meaningful ways.
