Celebrating Kartini Day with Pride and Joy at ABC Kids Elementary DDN

On a bright and festive day, the students of ABC Kids Elementary DDN came together to celebrate Kartini Day, honoring the legacy of Indonesia’s national heroine, Raden Ajeng Kartini. The celebration was not only filled with color and culture, but also with meaningful learning moments and joyful family engagement. Dressed in beautiful traditional outfits, the students proudly showcased Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage. From kebayas to batik, each child embraced the spirit of the day with smiles and enthusiasm. The school was filled with vibrant colors and a sense of unity, as students walked with pride, remembering the values that Kartini stood for — education, equality, and courage. As part of the celebration, the children learned about various Indonesian women heroes who, like Ibu Kartini, made significant contributions to the nation. From Cut Nyak Dien and Dewi Sartika to Martha Christina Tiahahu, students explored stories of bravery, resilience, and leadership. This activity helped them understand that Indonesia’s history is shaped by many inspiring women whose voices and actions made a difference. Adding a fun and interactive twist to the day, students participated in a special activity with their parents — decorating doughnuts! With colorful icing, sprinkles, and creative designs, the children and their parents bonded through laughter and teamwork. This sweet session brought families closer while fostering creativity and collaboration. The celebration at ABC Kids Elementary DDN was more than just an event — it was a reminder of the importance of honoring our roots, appreciating the heroes who paved the way, and nurturing a spirit of togetherness. Happy Kartini Day! 🌸 “Habis gelap terbitlah terang” — From darkness comes light.
